Press images and specifications of ZTE Nubia Z9 mini and Nubia Z9 Max leaked out ahead of their official announcement. The smartphones will make their debut on March 26.
ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is the better equipped member of the duo. It packs 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, and 5.5” display (likely a QHD unit). A 16MP main camera, 8MP front-facing snapper, and 2,900mAh battery round up the known specs.
With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 5” 1080p display, ZTE Nubia Z9 mini looks poised to make a splash in the upper echelons of the mid-range market. Like its bigger brother, the Z9 mini packs 16MP main camera, 8MP front-facing unit, and 2,900mAh battery.
Both devices run Android 5.0 Lollipop. The OS has been customized by ZTE’s Nubia v2.8 UI.
