HTC One (M8) owners on AT&T in the United States will begin receiving Android Lollipop tomorrow. Mo Versi, HTC's VP of product management announced on Twitter that the update has received technical approval.
The update will be available over-the-air. It brings a host of improvements to the HTC One (M8) headed by brand new ART runtime and Material Design update for the device’s native applications.
AT&T is the latest major carrier to update HTC One (M8) to Android Lollipop. The device's variants on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon are already running the new firmware.
We benchmarked HTC One (M8) with Android 5.0 Lollipop back in January. You can find out about the change in its performance in our blog post.
