Google has sent out media invites in India for the launch of the company's latest Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X smartphones. The event will be held in New Delhi on October 13, where the pricing and availability will be officially revealed.

Flipkart teases Nexus 6P in India
Flipkart has started teasing the Nexus 6P on its website. A new page lists all the new features of the phone but does not mention the price and only says 'Coming Soon' for release date.
Then again, we already know the price, thanks to the Google Store. As we previously reported, the Nexus 6P in India will be priced at INR 39,999 for the 32GB mode, INR 42,999 for the 64GB model, and INR 47,999 for the 128GB model.
Flipkart hasn't mentioned the Nexus 5X yet, even though the phone is listed on the Google Store.

Nexus 5X and 6P India pricing revealed
Google has updated the Google Store India page with the new Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. Unfortunately, neither can be purchased or pre-ordered at the moment and all you can do now is join a waiting list without even knowing the price.
However, you will notice at the bottom the page shows pricing for the new accessories. If you click on one of them and then scroll down again you will see the two phones as part of suggestions.
Turns out, the Nexus 5X will start at INR 31,900 ($485) for the 16GB model, whereas the 6P will start at INR 39,999 ($608) for the 32GB model. Only starting prices are visible for now and we will have to wait till the phones are up for pre-order to see pricing for other variants.
Update: We have the prices for all the variants now after checking the HTML source for the store pages (h/t TechPP).

As for the accessories, you can purchase a universal 15W USB Type-C charger for INR 1,799.99, USB Type-C to Type-C cable for INR 1,399.99, USB Type-C to USB Standard A-Plug cable for INR 909.99, and USB Type-C to USB Standard-A adapter for INR 909.99.
The Nexus 6P folio case is priced at INR 3,900, the standard case at INR 2,800, the ADOPTED Protective case for INR 1,800, and the Speck CandyShell Grip case for INR 3,000.
The 5X Folio case is priced at INR 3,200, standard case at INR 2,800, ADOPTED Protective case for INR 1,800, and Speck CandyShell Grip case for INR 2,500.
Japan-exclusive gold Nexus 6P
Google announced the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X yesterday. The 6P has a unibody anodized aluminum construction that comes in aluminum (silver), graphite (black), and frost (white) colors. But there is a fourth color, and it's only exclusive to Japan for now.
This is the gold colored Nexus 6P and as you can tell it looks quite stunning. Unfortunately, you will have to switch the website region to Japan to even see this image. As for the phone itself, there is no word on when, if at all, this color will be available in other regions.
Update: The phone is officially called Nexus 6P Special Edition.
Nexus 5X costs €480 in Europe, £340 in the UK, ouch
We're still wheezing after yesterday's reveal that a $500 Nexus 6P that will cost €650 in Europe, now we just need to lay down after seeing the Nexus 5X prices – a $380 phone, mind you. Google Store Finland has put up the pricing info for the 5X and the 16GB model is €480. 16GB!
If you want more (which you probably do) you're looking at €500+. In the UK the 16GB model is £340. That's dangerously close to the kind of cash a Galaxy S6 32GB costs - £380 on Amazon UK (you can even find it for less), in euro the situation is pretty similar.
While the Nexus 6P is pretty great, the Nexus 5X is not that much of an upgrade over the Nexus 5. And the 5X isn’t really an expensive phone... if you're in the US at least.
